Past Presentations of the Cincinnati CWRT

The typewritten texts of many of the early presentations made to the Cincinnati CWRT back in the late 1950's and 1960's were preserved by CCWRT leaders and deposited in the manuscript collection under our name at the Cincinnati Historical Society Library. Those texts and other CCWRT historical material are found in the CHS Library as collection Mss qC582W. During that early period, our Round Table relied almost exclusively on its members to provide presentations at the monthly meetings. For those of you old enough to remember typing those term papers on old, cranky typewriters -- the early CCWRT talks come from that era. In recent years, speakers have usually concentrated more on making a presentation than on "reading a formal paper", so we do not have as many transcripts that can readily be made available here. Within that context, we have provided the texts from some of the presentations made at CCWRT over the past fifty years for your reading and research. Each text includes the date on which it was presented at the CCWRT.
